Recently the trend towards overseas education is more pronounced. more than 1.6 lakh Indian students are studying in international universities abroad. UK, USA and Canada are some of the best destinations.International Language Testing System IELTS is mandatory for admission to any UK/Canadian university. Test of english as a foreign language TOEFL is required for American Universities.Moreover Graduate record examination GRE is required for graduate programme admission abroad especially United States of America.Graduate Management Examination or GRE score is essential for MBA admission in any of the Bussiness schools in United States. An IELTS Score of 7/9 is essential for UK admission.
There are umpteen numbers of coaching centres catering for the English proficiency/graduate record/graduate management aptitude tests in the country. But student can prepare for the examination using text books and CDs available with the leading book stalls. Three months preparation is enough for the programme.One year home work is needed for overseas education programme. initiall the candidate has to apply for an Indian passport.
